Emotional obsolescence. Designing our desire is a strategy that relies on making us feel uncomfortable with the things that we already own. How do we move beyond this and develop models that are less damaging yet still turn a profit?

A look at my jeans and an old tshirt to illustrate the point that the greenest jeans you can get are the ones you already own.
